Shipping and Handling for U.S. Customers

Your total shipping and handling charges are based on the shipping method selected. Your shipping and handling charge will appear as a line item under your subtotal during the checkout process. We do not charge extra if you order more than one pair of sunglasses. Standard free service is UPS Ground, but we can offer other carriers if you contact us first with a specific request. We are a small company, so please also allow up to 4 days for us to pack and ship the order, and then 5-7 days for UPS ground shipping. If you need a delivery urgently, please call or email us first and we will let you know whether we can accommodate your timing (and then we we need to charge for express shipping).

For US orders, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover/Novus and American Express.

Payments are processed safely and securely with Authorize.net – please see below for more information.

If you have an online shopping account at Lumete.com, you can logon to see a complete history of your lumete.com purchases.

 

Returns and Exchanges for U.S. Customers

Purchases made online are available for refunds as well as exchanges. In the event that your Lumete sunglasses do not meet your expectations, please submit an Online Return Request Form within 10 days of the date indicated on your packing slip.

Please note:   Sunglasses must be unworn, other than to try them on.

All items must be returned and repacked in the manner they were received, with all components, including the sunglasses, hard case, sunglasses sleeve and microfiber lens cleaning cloth.

The products must be free of any damage caused by the customer or by return shipping.

Please fill out the Online Return Request Form. If Lumete approves the return, you will be provided with a prepaid retirn shipping label.

Please allow 14 business days to process your return after it is received.

Lumete reserves the right to final approval on all returns.

Shipping and Exchanges for Non-US Customers

International shipping is currently available worldwide and international customers can pay in their own currency. At this time, we can only offer exchanges for non-US orders, not returns (unless the sunglasses arrive damaged). Please find information and policies here.

  

Gifts

Your sunglasses and accessories arrive in a beautigul Lumete gift bag. We offer handwritten gift cards, you can enter your message by choosing the gift messaging option at checkout. We also offer free gift wrapping, which is also an option at checkout. Prices do not appear on packing slips.  

 

Your Account

Why should I become a registered user? Being a registered user offers you faster checkout since you won't have to re-enter your credit card or shipping and billing information. When you place an order that information will be filled in automatically.

 

Wish List

When you are shopping on lumete.com and find items that you want to save but not purchase immediately, add them to your Wish List. You can save these items for later by signing in or creating an account with an email address and password. Your Wish List can serve as a way to save items even after you leave our site, making it easy to relocate and purchase your favorite items later. In addition, if you see an item that you wish to purchase, but the “Add to Wish List” button appears instead of “Add to Bag”, this means that the item is in production and not yet available for purchase. We will do our best to post approximate delivery dates on our blog, so you can come back to lumete.com and make your purchase as soon as your sunglasses are available.
