Shipping and Handling for Customers outside the Contiguous United States

International shipping is currently available worldwide.  International orders are processed through our trusted partner International Checkout. International Checkout was named one of Inc. 500’s 2009 Top 10 Women-Run Companies. Customers may select to pay in their own local currency with Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, JCB, PayPal, Moneybookers, or Bank Transfer.

Please note that International Checkout coordinates your lumete.com order and is responsible for all billing, shipping and customer service issues related to your International order:

1. Select your items at lumete.com and put your items in the Lumete Shopping Bag

2. Select the International Shipping link in the shopping bag

3. Confirm the items in your bag are ready for purchase and proceed to International Checkout by  selecting the International Checkout button (located at the bottom of the page)

4. The item sunglasses style name, color, model number and price will be transferred to International Checkout for processing

5. To complete your order, you will be asked to fill in shipping and billing information on the International Checkout website

Returns and Exchanges Policy

At this time, we can only offer exchanges for non-US orders, not returns. We do not cover the cost of return shipping (unless the sunglasses arrived damaged), however we will cover shipping for the replacement pair. If you are a cuatomer outside of the contiguous US, please contact Lumete if you would like to exchange your sunglasses for reasons.

Returns are only available if the sunglasses arrived with damage that was not caused by the customer or the shipping carrier.  If the sunglasses arrived damaged, please email International Checkout within 10 days of receipt of the package.

Please note:

Sunglasses must be unworn, other than to try them on.

All items must be returned and repacked in the manner they were received, with all components, including the sunglasses, hard case, sunglasses sleeve, and microfiber lens cleaning cloth.

The products must be free of any damage caused by the customer or by return shipping.

Lumete handles returns on a case-by-case basis. All returns require a Return Authorization Number (an “RA#”), which can be requested only by contacting International Checkout, providing your order number indicated on the Lumete packing slip, explaining the damage to the sunglasses, and emailing a picture of the damaged sunglasses. If Lumete approves the return, you will be provided with an RA#, along with a return shipping address and a form to be printed and included with the return. Items may not be returned without an RA#.  Please write the RA# clearly on the outside of the shipping box. Returns must be shipped with a carrier that can provide tracking and insurance. Lumete cannot be responsible for returns which are lost in the mail. Returns must be shipped to arrive at the returns address within 15 days of the issuance of your RA#, so please return your merchandise promptly after receiving an RA# number. Outside of this 15 day window, RA#s will no longer be valid. Once we receive your package, International Checkout will credit your original payment method.

Any merchandise returned to Lumete without an RA# number will be refused. An RA# does not guarantee final disposition. All returns are subject to inspection. Lumete reserves the right to refuse any return.

Please allow 20 business days to process your return after it is received. If there is a refund due, a credit will be issued in the original form of payment. You will be notified via email when this transaction has taken place.
